Always love some Thundercat, I have a special Chopped and Screwed vinyl of this album and it’s a prized possession.
Nah they eventually uploaded it to streaming services, called Drank instead of Drunk, it’s a collaboration with the Chopstars, OG Ron C and DJ Candlestick. I’m just a sucker who loves the purple vinyl.

Temperatures have been going up so it's Jorge Ben time. Man's got some serious pipes. Also every other song on this album (Forca Bruta) makes me want to cry.

Sick detroit techno. I've been listening to the album this is on a decent amount lately, great music to vibe to at night.

I like this guy, he writes beautiful dreamy guitar sort vaguely conspiracy-themed songs. Also we're friends on Twitter.

i have been obsessed with this song for the last week. i hadn't heard of them until recently, their singer had a feature on a new Dance Gavin Dance track.

the video is something special, if you're into robots, dinosaurs, and elephants.

Wow my daughter loves Jorge Ben Jor. A Tábua de Esmeralda is one of the best albums ever.

Kendrick Lamar returns with a wild music video. Gonna have to watch this one a couple times but there’s a lot going on here.

last year's *debut album* by composer/sound designer ursula sereghy has captured my attention recently. jazz samples, field recordings, and other sound selections presented in stunning detail via granular synthesis and a real sense of joy or perhaps mischief. it made me say "how!?" like an anime character.
